Jeffery A. Brooks is an undergraduate student at Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University double majoring in Political Science and History. Mr. Brooks’ research interests lie in Counterinsurgency and Cold War History and how to apply lessons learned from the Cold War to American future endeavors, particularly against non-state actors. His most recent research paper focused on CIA Subversive campaigns in the early years of the Cold War and its importance in Containment strategy. Mr. Brooks also serves on the Executive Council of the American Enterprise Institute at Arizona State and as a member of the Alexander Hamilton Society. He plans on obtaining a Ph. D. in History after graduation, hoping to continue his policy research interests.
